We are incredibly proud to announce that Memorable Green and EcoDomeHomes.com have been selected to join the Digital Built Accelerator.
This is a historic appointment: it is the first-ever innovation and acceleration program dedicated entirely to the construction sector launched by the Técnico Venture Lab (the entrepreneurship arm of the historic Instituto Superior Técnico) and Unicorn Factory Lisboa. Integrated into the broader European DIGITALbuilt consortium and backed by the European Commission and the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), this acceleration platform was explicitly built to find and scale the technologies that will drag the traditional construction sector into a sustainable digital era.
Out of a highly competitive pool of international applicants with minimum viable products (MVPs), our airformed concrete dome hulls and M45 systems were chosen as a definitive solution for the future of resilient infrastructure.
Why This First-of-Its-Kind Program Matters
The construction sector is one of the most vital legacy industries globally, but it is also historically one of the slowest to innovate. The Digital Built Accelerator targets this exact friction point by focusing on three priority pillars:
- ConstructTech Utilizing AI, automation, and advanced digital platforms to eliminate planning inefficiencies, enhance tracking, and optimize project management.
- ConTech Deploying on-site optimization tools like robotics, modular construction, and prefabrication to streamline real-world deployment.
- New Materials Engineering low-carbon, super-resilient, and environmentally friendly alternatives — such as alternative concrete formulations — to reduce the built environment's carbon footprint.
