Expanding the Blueprint: EcoDomeHomes.com Announces U.S. Operations and First East Coast Projects
While our global research and development headquarters continue to accelerate out of our premier technology hubs in Portugal, the demand for truly resilient, climate-resilient infrastructure knows no borders. Extreme weather events are rising globally, and traditional legacy housing is struggling to keep pace with the shifting climate reality.
Today, we are thrilled to announce a massive milestone in our commercial expansion: the official launch of our United States operations.
To kick off this new chapter, EcoDomeHomes.com has officially signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to deliver three advanced residential structures in New Hampshire. This landmark agreement represents our first physical footprint on the U.S. East Coast, bringing our high-performance building systems directly to a market that needs resilient infrastructure designed for disaster resistance.
Why New Hampshire? Engineering for the Extremes
New Hampshire represents an ideal proving ground for our advanced structural systems in North America. The region experiences a demanding, highly variable climate spectrum, ranging from intense, sub-zero winter blizzards and heavy snow loads to increasingly severe summer heat waves and high-wind storm fronts.
Traditional timber-frame buildings require complex, high-maintenance insulation layers and continuous energy consumption to stay comfortable in these environments. Our structural model solves these challenges natively:
- Thermal Mass by DesignBy combining a continuous, high-density concrete shell with advanced, integrated insulation barriers, these structures are designed to hold internal temperatures, for low heating and cooling demand through New England's harshest winters.
- High Design LoadsOur seamless concrete hulls are engineered for heavy snow accumulation, high-impact wind loads, and severe weather patterns.
- Permanence Over ConsumptionBy eliminating vulnerable wood framing, these homes are designed to resist mold, rot, pests, and fire, for a multigenerational asset designed for a multi-century service life.
“The launch of our U.S. operations is a direct response to a growing global demand for infrastructure that moves past temporary, legacy construction techniques. Signing this LOI for three residential builds in New Hampshire allows us to demonstrate how our advanced concrete engineering performs in some of the most variable climates in North America. We aim to show that high-performance, resilient living can be delivered at cost parity with traditional market rates.” Christopher Garner, Founder
Bridging Global Tech Innovation with U.S. Deployment
Our U.S. operations will function in lockstep with our European innovation ecosystem. The advanced materials research, workflow optimizations, and predictive engineering models accelerated through our partnerships with Técnico and CRIA will feed directly into our American build pipelines.
By utilizing standardized, highly scalable airformed shell technologies, our U.S. division is optimized to move from design to physical shell completion efficiently, while reducing exposure to the labor shortages and material bottlenecks that currently plague standard American construction.
The Blueprint for Tomorrow
The execution of this Letter of Intent is just the first step. As we finalize site selections and prepare for the engineering phase on these three New Hampshire properties, we are working toward a new standard for resilient development across the United States.
We are proving that you don't have to compromise on design, comfort, or financial viability to build a home designed to stand up to the environment. The future of American housing is resilient and long-lived, and it starts in New Hampshire.
